On 2023-11-30, VGID POWER (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. and its partners successfully won the bid for the EPC project of solar-diesel-storage microgrids on 30 islands across the Kaafu, Alifu-Alifu, Alifu Dhaalu and Vaavu atolls in the Maldives. It is worth noting that the Maldives 30-island solar-diesel-storage microgrid project (the 30-Island Project) is the fifth microgrid project VGID POWER has won in the Maldives; as of the award of this new project, the total number of islands on which VGID POWER has projects in the Maldives has reached 114.
